Chapter 5: “Glyphs of Power: Reading the Ancient Scripts” is my favorite section of the book. My interest is in Maya’ hieroglphic written script. ATOP & BENEATH this blog post are tables of the phonetic syllabary used for writing the ancient Maya language.
