INTRODUCTION.
The humanoid alien Klaatu and the giant robot Gnut suddenly materialize in Washington, DC in a time-travel spaceship. Two unfathomable beings from somewhere else in the universe. The murder of Klaatu ruins Earth’s attempt to peacefully welcome the first interstellar visitors. And one person tries to solve the mystery of why Gnut is silent, imperious and unassailable.

Here I presented: Harry Bates, “Farewell to the Master”, 1940. This SciFi novel has been film-adapted to Cinema in 1951 & 2008, under the title “The Day the Earth Stood Still”.
