J. Yunis & O. Prakash, “The Origin of Man: A Chromosomal Pictorial Legacy”, Science, 1982 was the topic of an earlier blog post.

Here I present: J. Yunis & O. Prakash, “The Origin of Man”, Science, 1982, PART TWO (II).
INTRODUCTION.
J. Yunis & O. Prakash, “The Origin of Man”, 1982 concluded that the chromosomes of Man and Ape are identical with the exception of human chromosomal DNA polymer number two (2). A “polymer is a summation of submolecules”. Giemsa stained DNA polymers under the microscope show submolecular bands. BELOW are the standards of cytogenetic locations and genomic coordinates for human chromosomal DNA polymer number (2).
CONCLUSION.
J. Yunis and O. Prakash, 1982 conclusion is that a “polymer is the summation of submolecules.”
The “Origins of Man” that J. Yunis and O. Prakash stated in 1982 are correct for Ape and Man.
