INTRODUCTION.
Rashmi Sadana रश्मिसाधना ,”The Moving City: Scenes from the Delhi Metro”, 2022 is a book about “social life” on infrastructure. Subway networks are infrastructure that are the same around the world.
This blog post is about the Delhi Metro by me: departing from California, USA. The flight from San Francisco International (SFO) airport to Indira Gandhi International Airport ( आईजीआई एयरपोर्ट ) is the primary international airport serving Delhi, the capital of India is an eighteen (18) hour nonstop, flight (shown BELOW).

Qutab Minar, India Gate & Akshardham Temple souvenirs are shown ABOVE from Delhi INDIA.
The nearest metro station to India Gate is the Central Secretariat Metro Station, which falls on the Yellow Line.
Qutab Minar metro station is an elevated station also on the Yellow Line of the Delhi Metro.
Akshardham Temple is near the Laxmi Nagar metro station is located on the Blue Line of the Delhi Metro.
The Orange Line is a Delhi Metro line from New Delhi to Yashobhoomi Dwarka Sector – 25, linking Indira Gandhi International Airport. This is where I board the airplane back to San Francisco International Airport, California. The Delhi Metro map is shown BELOW.
