“hand signs” (such as American Sign Language, shown above). Doctor Oliver Sacks book is case-studies of deaf patients. In a lingustic sense, each deaf population in unique to the la
language spoken in each country. For example, “Japanese Sign Language” (shown below) is completely from the earlier mentioned “American Sign Language”. That said, there is no “universal sign language” for the deaf patient to learn.
