Harold Morowitz, “The Wine of Life: and other Essays on Societies, Energy & Living Things”, 1979 was nonfiction science essay writings. The “Six Million Dollar Man” was an exposition on the cost of the chemicals of man. “Six Million Dollar Man” is my favorite essay in the book. Harold Morowitz was an advisor on Apollo 11 astronauts returning quarantine, and a column writer for “Hospital Practice” were his essays were first published. Michael Crichton, “Andromeda Strain”, 1969 was published two months before the Apollo 11 lunar landing mission.
