INTRODUCTION.
The tumor suppressor candidate-3 gene (TUSC3) encodes a protein involved in the human plasma membrane magnesium ion transport system. There is evidence that TUSC3 is a putative prostate tumor suppressor encoded on cytogenetic location 8p22 and genomic coordinate 8:15,417,188.
