Here I present: Edward Mazurs, “Graphic Representation of the Periodic System During One Hundred Years“, 1957.
INTRODUCTION.
I was searching for tactile graphic periodic tables. I was aware of Edward Mazurs book of over seven-hundred (700) periodic tables. Braille’ is tactile letters, and chemical elements’ are easily represented. The use of SMILES (simplified molecular input line entry system) notation with Braille’ is an excellent combination for learning. Sighted and blind students benefit from Braille’ displays of molecular notation. SMILES notation at the PubChem website is the best on the internet.
