Here I present: Louis Braille (1809-1852), “Procedure for Writing Words, Music & Plainsong in Dots”, 1829. PART FIVE (5).

INTRODUCTION.

The writing of  Chinese characters requires the use of the eight (8) dots Braille cells. There is a pair of ways to convert  the six (6) dots Braille cells into eight (8) dots Braille cells.  The pair of conversion is the addition of two (2) dots either: ABOVE or BELOW, shown BENEATH.

Chinese characters are represented by placing the numbers: zero (0) and seven (7) in Braille cells.  

The additional zero (0) and seven (7) atop  the Chinese character Braille cells is the beginning and ending of a Japanese kanji’.  Eleven (11) examples are shown BELOW. Most Chinese characters use two (2) or three (3) Braille cells for representation of the kanji’
