COMMENTS.
From his simple beginnings in the small, town of Corbin, Kentucky, USA. One chef born across the Ohio River in the state of Indiana moved into a former “Shell filling station” and opened his restaurant on the Kentucky side of the Ohio River . The name on the sign was “Sanders Cafe” and the year was 1929 shown BELOW.

In a few months the 1929 Great Depression hit; however, “Sanders Cafe” would get its owner the title of “Colonel” (the highest award of the state Kentucky) for his business.

SUMMARY.
This booklet was written for franchisees of the recipes. The chicken “eleven (11) herbs and spices” is a trade-secret recipe not in the booklet.
The sign at the restaurant in Corbin, Kentucky, USA where chef Harland Sanders started “Sanders Cafe” in 1929 was shown before. The world map of KFC in 2023 is shown BELOW; and, nearly a century after “Sanders Cafe” the KFC franchise worldwide has twenty-five thousand (25,000) restaurants.
Harland Sanders was thirty-nine (39) years old when he started “Sanders Cafe” in 1929. In 1980 Harland Sanders (1890-1980) was still working everyday in Louisville, Kentucky USA at the headquarters of KFC.
