Francis Bacon, “The New Atlantis,” 1627 was a utopian science fiction novel by one of the founders of the “scientific method”.  Francis Bacon, “New Method (Novum Organum)”, 1620 is a foundational philosophy of science book; and, the rejection of the ancient philosophy of Aristotle’s, “Organon”.   Along with Rene Descartes, Francis Bacon is synonymous with the “scientific method”. 
Francis Bacon, “The New Atlantis”, 1627 is an utopian science fiction novel of a mythical island in the Pacific Ocean, west of Peru.  On the island knowledge and science,  with Christianity rule. “The Solomon’s House” is the primer institute of the island land. Solomon’s House is a college, the utopian ideal for Francis Bacon.
