Kay Shimizu, “Quick & Easy Gourmet Wok Cooking”, 1976 was a spiral-bound “recipe cards and photo’s”.  The cookbook form is very inexpensive, popular with beginners.  The experienced cook, is usually interested in large, “coffee table” cookbooks as references.  The book is a example of essentially all a cookbook usually is: “recipe cards and photo’s. The first recipe card #1, and recipe photo #1 (are shown below).  Cookery in the beginning is just “recipe cards & photo’s”.  Kay Shimizu, “Quick and Easy Gourmet Wok Cooking”, 1976 is recommended with 30 recipes, 30 photographs and a glossary.
