The collection of recipe books from “Williams-Sonoma” is a personal favorite of mine. While, I collect recipes on my Pinterest site, I have to mention these recipe books on WordPress. A “recipe” is composed of: 1. picture, 2. title, 3. ingredients, and 4. directions. “Cook five ways”, a quote from Japanese chef Elizabeth Andoh: boil, fry, grill, steam, bake, roast, … etcetera per meal. Thus, a cook preparing a meal needs five recipes in memory each mealtime. Recipe books tell you nothing about food science. In the kitchen, recipe collections are essential however, and Williams-Sonoma is very popular.
