Here I present: Gerhard Michal, “METABOLIC PATHWAYS”, Wallchart-1965.
INTRODUCTION.
The first edition of the wallchart was published in 1965. Gerhard Michal as Biochemistry’ professor published decades ago (before this 2005 edition) a wallchart that became the gold standard for molecular biology. Part #1 “Metabolic Pathways” & Part #1 “Cellular and Molecular Processes”.
SMILES’ notation is the best choice for representation of the 1965 Gerhard Michal wallchart today. The words on the wallchart are not the problem. The molecular structure drawings for each word are greatly simplified if SMILES’ notation is used for both sighted and blind people.
