INTRODUCTION.
Isaac Asimov listed three (3) areas for the future of chemical engineering.
#1. Nuclear Energy.
#2. Aerospace Travel.
#3. Biotechnology.
The first (#1) “nuclear energy” and second (#2) “aerospace travel” areas of most people recognize. Isaac Asimov wrote in 1988 “The Future of Chemical Engineering”.
The third (#3) area “biotechnology” became bioinformatics’ Computer networks became commonplace in 1989.
COMMENTS.
John Newlands creativity gave the world the periodic table of chemical elements’ as an analogy to music scales. Hidden analogy of music as the foundation of chemistry is important. Engineers, chemists, doctors etcetera are “knowledgeable workers” founded on John Newlands periodic table’ of elements’.
