INTRODUCTION.

All languages obey Zipf’s law: the linguistic law that holds, when a list of words is sorted in decreasing frequency. It states that, the frequency of the nth entry is inversely proportional to n.

Zipf’s law says  word rank is inversely–proportional to the word frequency. 
Zipf’s  law applies to any language; but, here the example is Persian.  Corey Miller & Karineh Aghajanian-Stewart, “Frequency Dictionary of Persian, 2018 is the application of Zipf’s Law to Modern Persian speech.
