
Here I present: Siddhartha Gautama (563-483 BC), 法句經 “Dhammapada” धम्मपद , 250 BC, PART TWO (2) a collection of sayings in verse form of the Buddha’.
INTRODUCTION.
The Dhammapada consists of twenty-six (26) chapters of verse (not prose) saying of the Buddha’. The “table of contents” is shown BELOW.

COMMENTS.
The “Ashok Chakra” is the wheel of dharma and is the essence of teaching of Siddhartha Gautama (563-483 BC) the historical Buddha’. “Ashok Chakra” shown BELOW is part of the design of the flag of INDIA today.

The “wheel of dharma” integrated into Buddhist, Hindu, Jain & Sikh beliefs and inseparable from Indian identity.
