
Here I present: “Japanese Universities Guide for Students from Abroad”. 海外からの学生のための日本の大学ガイド。
INTRODUCTION.
The website www.japan-universities.com is a “Japanese Universities Guide for Students from Abroad” that is a bilingual website in Japanese and English.
This guide contains three (3) types of schools: 1. universities, 2. vocational-schools, and 3. language-schools (日本語)。While the title says “universities”, there is an equal number of “vocational-schools” and “language-schools (日本語)” listed in this educational guide.
COMMENTS.
The population of Tokyo makes it the largest city in the world. I personally know of universities in Tokyo. This hyperlink is to my favorite universities in Tokyo, shown BELOW.

OPINION.
There is no doubt that language-of-instruction in universities is the determining factor. ABOVE is a list of the Japanese highest ranked colleges. Japanese universities usually have students that come from abroad from East Asia (China, Korea, Vietnam … etcetera). The language barrier is very difficult depending on your mother-tongue. The effort put into crossing the language barrier is worth it, in my opinion from my experience living in Japan.
