INTRODUCTION.

Computer scientist Edsger Dijkstra once remarked, “A picture may be worth a thousand words; a formula is worth a thousand pictures”.  The Yellow Emperor  in the “Classic of Internal Medicine” presented his Numerical Formula of Acupoints.  The formulation is from zero (0) to three-hundred and sixty (360).

COMMENTS.

The Ancient Chinese development of writing independently of the earlier Mesopotamia’ cuneiform writing is significant.   BELOW is a list of dyslexia (readless) genes.  The Ancient Chinese discussed dyslexia in terms of their time. The list of acupoints BENEATH is the concept of “periodicity” for the Ancient Chinese.  The “molecular element periodic table” did not exist.   Dyslexia is the inability to read; and, writing just invented was discussed in terms of numerical formula of acupuncture.
