Here I present: “Hemolytic-Uremic Syndrome”, Victor McKusick, Mendelian Inheritance in Man’, 1966.
INTRODUCTION.
Hemolytic–Uremic Syndrome (HUS) is a group of blood disorders characterized by low red blood cells, acute kidney injury, and low platelets. Initial symptoms typically include bloody diarrhea, fever, vomiting, and weakness.
The development of hemolytic uremic syndrome can be conferred by variation in the gene encoding complement factor H (CFH) on cytogenetic location 1q31.3 and genomic coordinates 1:196,652,043-196,747,504 . The screenshot of the (CFH) gene 95,462 bp (base pairs) of DNA sequence length is shown BELOW. Nine (9) other genes besides (CFH) in cytogenetic location 1q31.3 are listed BENEATH.

| Coordinate | Symbol | Genomic Name. |
| 1:193,096,465 | GLRX2 | Glutaredoxin 2 |
| 1:193,122,031 | CDC73 | Cell division cycle 73 |
