COMMENTS.
Nikolas Rose is an excellent writer, and the essay is fine writing. This is a book that is free of illustration: graphics, charts, and photographs are not found in this book. I have BELOW my imagination of visuals for the book. I quote Nikolas Rose first:
“‘Medicine’ itself has also been transformed. It has become technomedicine, highly dependent on highly sophisticated diagnostic and therapeutic equipment. It has become fractured by a complex division of labor among specialists.”
With the above quote from the book, I give my visuals of the text only document. Civilization is the topic of this book (my diagram ABOVE).
1. Government.
2. Religion.
3. Social Classes.
4. Writing.
5. Culture.
6. Job Specialization.
7. Cities.
”BODY” is a fundamental term in the writing of Nikolas Rose. However, “BODY” is a thermodynamic concept as implied by my schematic diagrams BENEATH for “system”. SYSTEM is a thermodynamic idea. The twenty-four (24) chromosomal DNA shown BELOW are only “control-mechanisms” of physiological function in Nikolas Rose writings of BODY.
