INTRODUCTION.

Jules Verne, “Around the World in 80 Days”, the protagonist Phileas lives in London ENGLAND, and has a valet named Passepartout.

The two men circumnavigate the world on a wager for money.  The itinerary is as follows: London, Suez, Bombay, Calcutta, Hong Kong, Yokohama, San Francisco, New York and returning to London. Three (3) days to cross INDIA from Bombay to Calcutta is my favorite part of the itinerary.
