Here I present: Ian Stewart, “In Pursuit of the Unknown: 17 Equations that Changed the World”, 2012, PART THREE (III).
INTRODUCTION.
Today biochemist have discovered over ten-thousand (10,000) species of enzyme proteins.
Enzymes are classified today into seven (7) Equation Formula, listed ABOVE. Classification of “Translocase” in the red color is newest recognized “Equation Formula”. A “Translocase” is an enzyme embedded in the cell membrane, shown in brown color BELOW.

COMMENTS.
Ian Stewart is a mathematician; and not a biochemist. All of metabolisms, of every organism on Earth is described by seven (7) enzyme “Equation Formula”, listed BELOW.
“Translocase” are cell membrane embedded enzymes; and required research methods only recently developed.
Translocase are associated with electric current. Blood flow in the BRAIN vessels results in EEG (electroencephalogram) current on the scalp.
Neurochemist believe these seven (7) enzyme “Equation Formula” have changed the world. Ian Stewart’s equations are mathematical formulas. Enzyme “Equation Formula” are chemical physiology.
