INTRODUCTION.
Prosopagnosia is term used for the deficiency of “face blindness”. Neurologist Oliver Sacks presents in this book of case history, those suffering with prosopagnosia (face blindness). The Fusiform Gyrus is shown ABOVE; and is the tissue responsible for prosopagnosia. The title of the book “The Man Who Mistook His Wife for a Hat” presents this facial recognition disorder.

Thus, no individual identity (others or self) is recognized by the suffer of prosopragnosia.
