Amy Cramer & Lisa McComsey, “Seagan Eating: “The Lure of a Healthy, Sustainable ‘Seafood-plus-Vegan’ Diet”, 2016 cookbook was the topic of an earlier blog post.
Nicole Pisani & Kate Adams, “The Seaweed Cookbook”, 2019 also was the topic of an earlier blog post.
Here I present: Celine Steen & Joni Marie Newman, “500 Vegan Recipes: An Amazing Variety of Delicious Recipes, from Chilis & Casseroles to Crumbles, Crisps & Cookies”, 2009. The “table of contents” of the cookbook is shown below.

This cookbook consists of 20 chapters; and, “Candies & Bars”, chapter #19 is my favorite. “Snacks” are not usually a separate chapter in cookbooks unless they are vegan/vegetarian recipes. Vegans are in general “home cooks” that prepare more recipes themselves. Chocolates such as in chapter#19 “Candy & Bars” make vegan seem much less restrict eating. Below is the “table of animal-derived ingredients” that are excluded from recipes of vegan cookery. The cookbook is a collection of recipes that exclude the items for vegans.
