Louis Jacques Daguerre, “History and Practice of Photogenic Drawing: On the True Principles of the Daguerreotype”, 1839 was nonfiction science of photography writings. Louis Daguerre was the father of photography and the 1839 writings give his account of daguerreotype photography. The camera was a historic invention by Louis Daguerre of France in 1839. Harrison Horblit, “100 Books Famous in the History of Science”, 1964 includes this book by Louis Daguerre.
