COMMENTS.

From his simple beginnings in the small, town of Corbin, Kentucky, USA. One chef born across the Ohio River in the state of Indiana moved into a former “Shell filling station” and opened his restaurant on the Kentucky side of the Ohio River . The name on the sign was “Sanders Cafe” and the year was 1929  shown BELOW.

In a few months the 1929 Great Depression hit; however, “Sanders Cafe” would get its owner the title of “Colonel” (the highest award of the state Kentucky) for his business.
