Here I presented: Madhur Jaffrey’s, “Instantly Indian Cookbook: Modern and Classic Recipes for the Instant Pot”, 2019 which was a pressure cooker cookbook.

The language map of India is diverse and shown BELOW and ABOVE.  Dozens of various thali-tray meal are language-region specific.

Below are twelve (12) variations of the Indian  thali-salver meal.  This consists of a central grain (flatbread or rice),  and main & side dishes served on a single, round tray.

The grain recipe from this cookbook is “Plain Basmati Rice”; and, the recipe is shown BELOW.

This is essentially how anyone can create a variety of Indian thali-tray meals using Madhur Jaffrey’s cookbook.  The plating of the meals in thali-salver for Indian cuisine is essential; and, grains (flatbread & basmati rice) are basic.
