Francis Bacon, “The New Atlantis,” 1627 was a utopian science fiction novel by one of the founders of the “scientific method”.  Francis Bacon, “New Method (Novum Organum)”, 1620 is a foundational philosophy of science book; and, the rejection of the ancient philosophy of Aristotle’s, “Organon”.   Along with Rene Descartes, Francis Bacon is synonymous with the “scientific method”.

Solomon’s House is a college, the utopian ideal for Francis Bacon.
