Here I present: Naceur Jabouja, “Introduction to Tamazight Language: A Guide to Amaziah Culture”, 2024, PART TWO (2).

INTRODUCTION.

The distinction between the terms Naceur Jabouja uses is important.

First, “Berber” as a term refers “geographic group” shown ATOP on a pair of maps.

Second, “Amaziah” as a term refers to the “cultural-anthropology” of the MAGHREB  shown on the map ABOVE.

Third, “Tamazight” (Central Atlas) is one of the ten (10) languages of the Berber-speakers  shown BELOW.

Finally, the “language tree” of the Afro-Asiatic linguistic phylum is shown BENEATH with the split of Semitic-Berber dividing between 5,000-6,000 BC.
