Here I present: Donald Newton Wilber (1907-1997), “Persepolis: The Archaeology of Parsa (𐎱𐎠𐎼𐎿)”, 1969. Persepolis was a major city of the Achaemenid Empire of 550 BC (shown BELOW).
Persepolis, MESOPOTAMIA used cuneiform script in 550 BC (over two-and-a half millennia (2,574 years ago). Old Persian 𐎠𐎼𐎹 (Ariya) language-identity are traced to Persepolis, MESOPOTAMIA via cuneiform writings.
The book consists of the details of the archeological excavation of Persepolis, MESOPOTAMIA, and the cuneiform tablets were found at the excavation site.
