Ioannis Yannis is the engineer who made a significant contribution to burn covering with this invention of “Multilayer Membrane Useful as Synthetic Skin”.
This synthetic skin is usually called “Burke-Yannis” graft. Dr. John Burke, MD was the burn surgeon who first used the Ioannis Yannis invention.
