袁枚 Yuan Mei, 隨園食單 Suíyuán Shídān, 1792 was a Chinese cookery classic. Sean J. S. Chen, “The Way of Eating”,2017 is an English translation of the writer Yuan Mei.  Antoine Careme, and Alexis Soyer are Western chefs that I have posted on the blog. The addition of Yuan Mei from the East seemed needed from food history.
