INTRODUCTION.

 In learning the vocabulary of chromosomics, it is essential to understand the “genes on cytobands”. The number of “genes on a cytoband” varies as shown BELOW for chromosome-11. BENEATH that chromosome-11 diagram, are a listing for all chromosomes 1-22,XY showing “genes on cytobands” variation across the genome. UNDERNEATH is the grouping of chromosomes 1-22,XY into seven (7) chromosomal classes.
