Albert Einstein’s Travel Diary: Far East, Palestine, Spain, 1922–1923.

Here I present: Albert Einstein’s ,Travel Diary: Far East, Palestine, Spain, 1922–1923. PART THREE (III).

INTRODUCTION.

There was no Physics 1921 Nobel award, in 1922 Albert Einstein received the award for that year. During Albert Einstein’s sea voyage he lectured on the “theory of relativity”. Relativity was a conceptual change for Physics educators. “Travel Diary” concerns the transition from “classical” Newtonian to “modern” Quantum-Relativity.

Albert Einstein’s lecture titled “Fundamental ideas and problems of the theory of relativity“. This lecture was delivered to the Nordic Assembly of Naturalists at Gothenburg, SWEDEN on July 11, 1923.

Lecture Title: “Fundamental ideas and problems of the theory of relativity“.

Date & Location: July 11, 1923, at the Nordic Assembly of Naturalists in Gothenburg, Sweden

Context: Einstein was awarded the 1921 Nobel Prize in Physics for his work on the law of the photoelectric effect.

He received the prize in November 1922 but could not attend the ceremony; he later agreed to give a special lecture of his choice in Gothenburg, SWEDEN in July 1923 to acknowledge the Nobel Prize award.

The Gothenburg, SWEDEN lecture itself did not concern the discovery of the photoelectric effect but rather his theory of relativity.
