Here I present: “Open-angle Glaucoma”, Victor McKusick, Mendelian Inheritance in Man’, 1966. (ABS10) 開角青光眼。icd10=H40.11

INTRODUCTION.

Open-angle glaucoma is the most common type of glaucoma.

ABOVE is the chromosome assignments of eight (8) open-angle glaucoma genes:

1. MYOC

2. EFEMP1

3. IL20RB

5. WDR36

7. ASB10

10. OPTN

12. TBK1

19. NTF4

There is evidence that open-angle glaucoma type-1F is caused by heterozygous mutation in the ankyrin repeat- and SOCS box-containing protein-10 (ASB10) gene on cytogenetic location  7q36.1 and genomic coordinates 7:151,175,698-151,187,792. The screenshot of the ASB10 gene 12,095 bp (base pairs) of DNA sequence length is shown BELOW. Nine (9) other genes besides ASB10 in the 7q36.1 cytogenetic location are listed BENEATH.
