
Here I present: “Chemical Notation using the Nemeth Braille Code”, 2023, PART TWO (2).
INTRODUCTION.
BENEATH is the formula showing the burning of methane in Braille.
The methane molecule is shown BELOW in three (3) common chemistry representations.
A chemical space often referred to in cheminformatics is that of potential pharmacologically active molecules. Its size is estimated to be in the order of 1060 molecules. The novemdecillion (1060) is a shown ABOVE. Braille notation is in my opinion useful in trying to imagine what novemdecillion (1060) molecule structures look like. Chemoinformatics is computational chemistry and should include all students whether sighted or blind.
