Here I present: Leukemia Inhibitory Factor Receptor”, Victor McKusick, Mendelian Inheritance in Man’, 1966. 白血病抑制因子受體。(LIFR).

 INTRODUCTION.

Leukemia inhibitory factor receptor (LIFR) has been shown to interact with glycoprotein-130.  LIFR has also been identified as a breast cancer metastasis suppressor that functions through the Hippo-YAP pathway. LIFR is down regulated in a number of breast carcinomas and may serve a prognostic tool.

There is evidence leukemia inhibitory factor receptor (LIFR) is encoded on cytogenetic location 5p13.1 and genomic coordinates 5:38,474,668-38,608,403. The screenshot of the LIFR gene 133,736 bp (base pairs) of DNA sequence length is shown BELOW.  Nine (9) other genes besides LIFR in the 5p13.1 cytogenetic location are listed BENEATH.
