Here I present: Carbamoylphosphate Synthetase (type-I)”, Victor McKusick, Mendelian Inheritance in Man’, 1966. 氨基甲酰磷酸盐合成酶。(CPS1).

INTRODUCTION.

Carbamoyl phosphate synthetase is an enzyme that catalyzes the reactions that produce carbamoyl phosphate as the Type-1 (EC# 6.3.4.16 CPS1 mitochondria) and Type-2 (EC# 6.3.5.5 CPS2 cytoplasm). The enzyme is the rate-limiting step in the “Krebs Urea Cycle” (shown ABOVE).

There is evidence that is on cytogenetic location 2q34 and genomic coordinates 2:210,477,685-210,679,107 . The screenshot of the CSP1 gene 201,423 bp (base pairs) of DNA sequence length is shown BELOW.  Nine (9) other genes besides CSP1 in the 2q34 cytogenetic location are listed BENEATH.
