Here I present: “Vesicoureteral Reflux”, Victor McKusick, Mendelian Inheritance in Man’, 1966. 小管反流 。(VUR) 胆管逆流。

INTRODUCTION.

Vesicoureteral reflux (VUR) is a condition in which urine flows retrograde, or backward, from the bladder into one or both ureters and then to the renal calyx or kidneys.  Urine normally travels in one direction (forward, or anterograde) from the kidneys to the bladder via the ureters, with a one-way valve at the vesicoureteral (ureteral-bladder) junction preventing back-flow.

There is evidence that the vesicoureteral reflux type-1 (VUR1) gene is on cytogenetic location  1p13 and genomic coordinates  1:106,700,001-117,200,000 . The screenshot of the VUR1 gene 10,500,000 bp (base pairs) of DNA sequence length is shown BELOW.  Nine (9) other genes besides VUR1 in the 1p13 cytogenetic location are listed BENEATH.
