“Polycystic Kidney Disease”, Victor McKusick, “Mendelian Inheritance in Man”, 1966.

ABOVE is the twenty-four (24) hour day of  CHROMOSOMIC CLOCK and this time is sixteen (#16).

Here I present: Polycystic Kidney Disease”, Victor McKusick, Mendelian Inheritance in Man’, 1966.
Polycystic Kidney Disease (PKD) is a genetic disorder in which the renal tubules become structurally abnormal, resulting in the development and growth of multiple cysts within the kidney.

PKD evidence that it is an autosomal dominant.  Polycystic kidney disease-1 with or without polycystic liver disease (PKD1) is caused by heterozygous mutation in the PKD1 gene on cytogenetic location 16p13.3 and genomic coordinates 16:2,088,708-2,135,898 . The screenshot of the 47,191 bp (base pairs) of DNA length of the PKD1 gene is shown BELOW.
