This wallchart is a derivative of a 1990’s US NIH (United States, National Institutes of Health) poster. Both wallcharts are shown ABOVE.
The value of the wallcharts was the “terminology” of landmarks to be learned in a new area. Again, these wallcharts are used as the lexicon of genomics is obscure to general conversation. As an lexical example, the #Y chromosomes words are shown BENEATH.
