Here I present: Chitra Banerjee चित्र बनर्जी  ,”The Palace of Illusions “, 2008 which was by an Indian-American author.  The story is set in San Francisco, California.

According to the author: “the epic weaves myth, history, religion, science, philosophy, superstition and statecraft into its numerous stories-within-stories to create a rich and teeming world filled with psychological complexity”.ABOVE is a “timeline of Indian epics”.
वाल्मीकि Valmiki, “Ramayana”; and, व्यासः Vyasa, “Mahabharata”, the first items on the “timeline of Indian epics” were the topic of an earlier blog post.

Jaipur City Palace, INDIA is the featured TOP image of the Green door on the book cover.  ABOVE is all four (4) doors of Jaipur City Palace, INDIA. BELOW is the symbolism represented by the doors of the Jaipur City Palace. Hindu gods: Vishnu, Shiva, Devi & Ganesha represented by the peacock, lotus, rose & green Gates respectively.
