Here I present:  Carl Darling Buck, “Dictionary of Selected Synonyms in the Principal Languages of Indo-European”, 1949 which was a thesaurus of words of the Indo-European (Hindi, English & other languages) family.   Shown above is the English word “Fire” from the dictionary with synonyms from the other languages.   This thesaurus consists of about 1,000 words and is useful in linguistic analysis of this language family.  

Above is the complete language tree of all languages; and, Indo-European is on the right-side 6th from the top.

Indo-European is 445 living languages; and, 3/4 of these languages are Indic.  Indo-European is spoken by nearly 1/2 of the World population today.  English, Spanish & Hindi are Indo-European languages.  With Chinese, these three (English, Spanish & Hindi) are the four most spoken languages in the World.
