Sue A. Kawashima, “A Dictionary of Japanese Particles”, Kodansha Publishing, 2013.

Japanese Postposition 助詞 じょし “Joshi” (particle) was the topic of an earlier blog post.  Here I present:  Sue A. Kawashima, “A Dictionary of Japanese Particles”, Kodansha Pub., 2013 which was a Japanese language dictionary of postpositions (particles).   Sue A. Kawashima’s dictionary is 345 page long; and, contains more than 100 助詞 じょし “Joshi”.   In the earlier

blog post my list is only 76 助詞 じょし “Joshi”.  Sue A. Kawashima, “A Dictionary of Japanese Particles”, Kodansha Publishing, 2013 is a complete dictionary for the life-long task of mastering 助詞 じょし “Joshi”.   Learning “particles (postpositions) is a task equal to learning Japanese kanji.
