Worldcat.org global libraries produced a novels 100 and 500 list of all time. The longer list is what I think is interesting. This list contains “science fiction” and “fantasy” novels. There are about a hundred sci-fi and fantasy novels in the five hundred list. Nonfiction books (science books & cookbook) are what I write post about usually. Sci-fi and fantasy fiction beg the question: “what is the difference between sci-fi and fantasy”? The answer is how the universe works. A science fiction universe is the same as the world of the reader. Fantasy novels, on the hand are fantastic worlds where the “laws of science” do not apply. The worldcat.org list of novels with these two genre was my personal interest.
